PDP in UI/UX Design (6 Months)

Module Structure

This program offers a balanced blend of creativity and technical skills, introducing learners to user research, information architecture, wireframing, prototyping, visual design, and usability testing. Students will understand how to design interfaces that are not only visually appealing but also intuitive, functional, and user-friendly.

Alongside theory, the course emphasises practical industry applications. Learners will work on real-world projects, such as designing mobile applications, responsive websites, and interactive prototypes. They will also gain exposure to design workflows, collaboration tools, and client-focused design processes.

The training is conducted on industry-standard design tools, including Adobe XD, Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InVision, ensuring students are equipped with the technical expertise required by modern design companies. By the end of the program, learners will have developed a career-ready portfolio showcasing mobile app designs, web layouts, prototypes, and interactive design projects, making them fully prepared for the professional world of UI/UX design.

• Module I – Fundamentals of UI/UX Design (1 Month)
  Covers the basics of design thinking, user research, personas, and journey mapping. Students learn how to analyze user needs and translate them into design concepts.
  Tools Covered: Figma, Miro
• Module II – Wireframing & Prototyping (1.5 Months)
  Students learn how to create low-fidelity and high-fidelity wireframes, build prototypes, and test early-stage designs for feedback.
  Tools Covered: Adobe XD, InVision
• Module III – Visual Design & Interaction (1.5 Months)
  Focus on interface design, colour systems, typography, icons, and responsive layouts. Students practice building visually consistent and accessible UI designs.
  Tools Covered: Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma
• Module IV – Usability Testing & Portfolio (2 Months)

  Students conduct usability testing, A/B testing, and design refinements based on feedback. The module concludes with a portfolio project, where learners design and present a complete app or website prototype.
